The Black Widow (Knurled) Fixed Point 90% Tungsten Steel Tip Darts incorporate many innovative concepts from the tip to the shaft! These Darts are “State of the art”, engineered and manufactured to the highest quality. Innovations include:

SPIDER LEG SHAFT (Fixed Point only). This specialty shaft has four high tensile strength wires that are anchored in an aluminum base and covered with heat shrunk rubber to form a firm hold on the flight.

LASER POINT.  The Steel-Tip has a rough black oxide coating applied to it, to increase friction thus preventing darts that are thrown softly from falling out.

BARREL.  The Black Widow Barrel is the most complicated barrel to produce. The manufacturing process begins with a billet of 90% pure tungsten. This allows for an extremely short and slim barrel to be produced, for its weight level. The billet is then center-ground and shaped with a slightly front-heavy balance so more consistent dart groupings can be achieved, which equals higher scores! Threads, point cavity and barrel styles are then machined, after which the billet is checked for proper weight. Finally, three different vapor coatings of titanium carbide and titanium/tantalum nitride are applied.
